Christmas Eve,Morning and Day (long post)

For Christmas eve we always go to Peter's sisters. They have a huge spread and lots of laughter. This year I took my camera but forgot the sim card and was only able to take a few pics..

On to Christmas Day!! We have in the past had family at our house. This year my sister hosted the get together. We decided to just have finger foods this time...Less mess and less work.Missy got some great things and it was great spending time my family. My grandfather was able to leave rehab to come....he was having trouble going through Christmas without grandma. We miss her so much!! I will post a pic from last year of her at the end.

Playdate

On Wed 2 of my friends came over with their girls for a play date. They had so much fun. Tried to watch a movie...they went back and forth from the movie to the bedroom. The women got to talk and kids played works very well. Then we ate lunch and played some more. When it was time to go they were tired and not too much of a fight. Marissa went down right after they left and took a great nap. Ladies we must do this again. Thanks for coming over. Here are some pictures i took.

Some kids sit well on Santa's lap while others scream. Marissa would fall into the category of screaming. Its starts with last year at circle of friends, then at legacy they had Santa visit again and now this year at circle of friends. I thought it was too funny not to blog about how my child loves to talk about Santa and gets all excited about telling him what she wants for Christmas but when she sees him in person she decides to scream instead. I know i am not the only one who has a child that hates sitting on Santa's lap which makes me feel a little better. Here are the pictures.

Grandfather, Last Day!

A quick little update on my grandfather...my friend left a comment and it reminded me that I was going to update and forgot. So..My grandfather went home on Friday last week and he is upstairs in rehab sharing a room with another man. they don't speak hardly at all...its an adjustment. Seems to be doing fine. He is having constant problems with his hearing aids but that's a whole other story. Thanks for your prayers.

Well Marissa had her last day at preschool and when we got to the car I saw this hat and I thought I need a picture of her wearing it.

Marissa sings this all the time not the whole song just a part of it.

On another note my child thinks timeout is good she does something she knows is wrong and asks for timeout. How crazy is this?

Ladies Party and Prayer Request

So every year Legacy has a Progressive Tea. We go to different homes to eat and fellowship.
I was able to go this year Thanks sweety for coming home early. We had a great turnout. Pictures were suppose to be taken but before we left the first house i was asked to take pictures. so here is the group i was in. It was alot of fun.

A separate note. My grandfather went into the hospital Friday with chest pains. His heart rate has been unstable and blood pressure up and down. I think they have figured out what to give him and now he is going to be released either today or tomorrow. He will not be able to go back to his apartment he will have to go upstairs to the home part and go through therapy to get some strength back. This has been a rough 5 months with my grandmother just passing earlier this year.
