Nothing and sickness

Well I am behind on blogging. Nothing was going on until Monday night. Marissa had a bad cough and a high fever. She went to the doctor on Tuesday and we found out it was croup. So she got a shot of steroid and we were on way home. Its has to pass on its own. Motrin for her fever but no medicine for her cough. Lets just say my sleeping at night well I am not sleeping cause croup is the worst at night. Last night was better...we had a humidifier in our room and she slept with us..first time. She did sleep most of the night. Probably won't be gone till sometime this weekend. I hope every else out there is feeling much better then Marissa. Have a great day!

Funny Story!

I have a story to tell everyone and its gross and funny at the same time. Marissa is now really acting like a 2 year old..although she doesn't turn 2 until August. This morning i hear her talking...almost making sense...not enough though for me to understand. I walk in and she has her diaper in her hand and says something. The diaper was wet really wet and dirty. I rushed the diaper to the pail and then had to wipe down the bed and her hands. Then cleaned her up and finally took the sheets off the bed etc. It was an eventful morning. So lesson learned....when putting on a night gown always wear shorts or pants.

Not Much

Well not much has been going on. Same old same old. I do have some pictures of Marissa carring her purse. She is so funny she gets her purse and sometimes baby and gets into the car (her coupe) just like i do when we go somewhere. She talks on the phone as well like i do...in the car! Which is really funny as well. Ok now for the pictures.

She is getting so big, now if i can just get that paci away we would get some teeth pictures.

No time for bows I must remove them a minute or two after they were put on my head.

Snow Time!!

Ok so I thought i would probably beat everyone in posting snow pictures...but it looks like amie was first. It was so cool to see that much snow. Peter came home early and we went out to the backyard and played in the snow. Peter made a snowman. He is used to that kind of weather growing up in Poland and Chicago but me not so much. It was cold!

It was so cold that Marissa needed a break and we came inside to watch Daddy make the snowman.

The finished snowman...a little dirty on the bottom but over all it looked great. Have a great weekend!!!

Talking on the phone

Marissa has been imitating me on her play phone...this is probably not the best video of her talking but I thought i would share anyway...If I get another one i will post it as well. if you listening closely she says bye and closes the phone fast...So funny!!

Well I got a nice break yesterday while Marissa stayed with Peter's sister. She had lots of fun...I have pictures from her day out with Karina. She is a great picture taker i am going to her for picture instead of a professional

Valentines Day

Well Thursdays can be busy..with Marissa in preschool and I watch Kaitlyn during the day...its goes so fast and seemes like lots of things to do. So yesterday afternoon i pick Marissa and dropped off Kaitlyn and went straight to the house so marissa could play and get energy out so when I get back in the car laster she wouldn't be horrible. Not sure what time we left but we went to tom thumb and got some neccesities (milk, bread etc) then I decided we would eat Panda Express so we leave Ton Thumb and go get Panda...Long lines everywhere we went. It took forever to get back home but once we made it back and had dinner it was a great evening. Peter brought me a yelow rose which is my favorite. He also brought home a balloon for marissa which was the best part of her day. I wish I had pictures to show you but i was so tired last night that I didn't want to go find the camera. Just thought I would share what we did for valentines day!
